Offered is a 1939 Associated Press wire photo featuring Clark Griffith--the image was used on his 1950 Callahan #35 baseball card. The photo was taken in Orlando, Florida during the Senators spring training. The caption reads "The 'old fox' of the Washington Senators, hollers instructions, encouragement or something of the sort to his rookies as they take to the field for early practice at the training camp here." The photo is dated February 17, 1939. Measures 8 x 10 1/2 inches. Excellent condition.
