Graded SGC PR 1. Offered is an incredibly rare (possibly UNIQUE!!) 1949 Page's Pittsburgh Milk Company Ted Williams card. In 1949, "Page's Pittsburgh Milk Co." used the same cards for this promotion as the 1947 Bond Bread series, which featured 44 baseball players, three boxers and a wrestler. That set marked the "rookie" cards of Ralph Kiner, Yogi Berra and Phil Rizzuto and baseball legend and social icon Jackie Robinson! The Page's Pittsburgh Milk Co. cards featured a hand-stamped ad on the reverse that reads, "Page's Pittsburgh Milk Co. - The Sweetest Milk Ever Sold." This example is in blue ink, but others are seen in purple ink.
