Offered is a "Rock 'N Roll" novelty felt hat from the mid-1950's with an obvious unlicensed image of Elvis Presley. With the absolute explosive popularity of Elvis Presley in 1956, every maker of novelty products wanted in. "Elvis Presley Enterprises" licensed Elvis' image to 100s of products, but some companies thought they would just forego the legal route and try to captilize on the phenomenom without referring directly to Elvis. The offered hat has a great Elvis image just to the right of the "Rock 'N Roll" logo, below "I Love You". The hat was made by "Newark Felt Novelty" and measures 10 x 9 inches. It presents in remarkable supple condition with all printing intact. Near Mint condition.
