1950s-60s NHL Original News Service Photo Collection (23) Incl. NY Rangers, Detroit Redwings, Boston Bruins and Others

The collection includes 23 original news service photos, 22 of which would be considered Type I, with only one Type II. All maintain their original paper captions still adhered to the reverse. The NHL teams featured on 20 of the photos include the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks and Montreal Canadiens. May have editorial markings in grease pencil and airbrushed sections (done for proper reproduction on film for newspaper publication). Three of the photos feature Junior League and Collegiate hockey teams in action. The group presents with expected wear from newsroom handling. Excellent condition overall with some lesser.
