Offered is a beautiful copy of the 1954 Sun Records 209 45 RPM 7-Inch Single of Elvis Presley's “That's All Right” and “Blue Moon of Kentucky”. This is a tougher to find variation with the upside down "209" on the "Blue Moon" side, just to the left of the center hole. This particular copy of the single is defined as a "Memphis pressing" because of the small, circular indentations in the labels on both sides. These are holes in the stamped vinyl created by the master stamper made from acetate struck on the Presto brand lathe Sam Phillips used at the time in his studio. Later copies without these so-called "delta" marks (there are three of them that form a triangle, or the Greek letter "delta") were stamped at other plants in Los Angeles and Philadelphia. The 45 has the proper matrix numbers in the dead wax areas of both sides, with “U-128-45 72” marked on side A and “U-129-45 72” marked on side B. The record measures 7 inches in diameter and presents with mild scuffs and a few scratches. While technically Excellent condition, the bold yellows of the label help it present much better. A sticker was removed from the "Blue Moon" label.
