Offered is a 1955 Elvis Presley Signed 11x14 Colorized Photo On Stage with Scotty and Bill on February 2, 1955, in Augusta, Arkansas. Elvis was certainly a willing autograph signer in the early days of his career, as we know, but to our knowledge this may be the ONLY SIGNED COLOR PHOTO from this nascent period in early 1955. The oversized photo was colorized in the fashion of a graduation or wedding portrait of the era, with the color choices, we can only assume, directed by the dedicated fan, Barbara (whose name is written on the reverse) -- Elvis' pink jacket. Elvis, ever the conscientious autograph signer, found a lighter area in the center of the image to place his very neat, large and flourishing bold pen signature. This is one of the most impressive signed 1950's pieces we have ever offered. Accompanied by LOA from Beckett Authentic.
