Offered is a 1955 Page Milk carton featuring a Mickey Mantle card on the side panel. Page Milk Mickey Mantle cards are incredibly rare--few have surfaced, including a small group recently--but to our knowledge there is NOT another complete carton in existence. The offered example was purchased in a midwest antique store over 35 years ago. Another one has never surfaced.

Page Milk was a dairy company in Coffeeville, Kansas, and in 1955, based on period newspaper advertisements, they ran special contests where the kid that sent in the most milk carton spouts or cottage cheese container lids would win an all expense paid trip to Kansas City to see Mickey Mantle when he was in town to play the Athletics. Mantle appeared on the companies milk cartons during the 1955 campaign. Page Milk also sponsored a local semi-pro baseball team in Kansas as part of their marketing efforts.
