Offered are three medium format color transparencies showing fans in the crowd during one of Elvis Presley's concert at The Louisiana Hayride in 1956. The two girls sighted by photographer Neal Peters are going nuts for the young singer, both wearing Elvis buttons. The fans surrounding them also sport various Elvis Presley Enterprises merchandise, including Elvis hats and other buttons, dating the photo to '56. The transparencies emanate from the Lester Glassner collection and bear his name on the sleeves--Glassner was a pioneering collector of pop culture artifacts. Each measures 2 1/2 x 2 inches and presents in very clean Near Mint condition. Also included is period newspaper advertisement promoting Elvis' concert at the Hayride.
