Offered is an incredible full case of 60 Elvis Presley photo viewers from the height of "Elvis Presley Enterprises" licensing boom of 1956. The shipping case lid has one of the photos of Elvis taped right next to its label, which reads “BLUE” at the top (the color of the viewers) and lists them as “Item No. 9516” and “Quantity 5 Dozens.” The blue viewer bodies remain unassembled because the white bases are still sealed in their original shipping bag. Furthermore, and perhaps most impressively, the 60 photos are all still attached to each other in six strips of ten images each! The photo used for this early Elvis product was taken in 1955, actually, by Memphis photographer William Speer during Elvis' time with Sun Records. Finding a relatively clean example of the viewer isn't a terribly tall order for a determined collector, but finding a complete case of them in pristine condition as is offered here is something we may never see again! The case measures 11 x 7 x 2 ¼ inches and presents with some mild water damage which has left staining but no structural damage. The box is technically Very Good condition, but the viewers are in MINT, unassembled condition, while the photos are only slightly lesser.
