1956 Elvis Presley Enterprises Shoes in Original Intact Box - A Rare Survivor!

Offered are a pair of 1956 Elvis Presley Enterprises shoes in their original pictorial box. The "Elvis Presley Sneakers by Randy" are one of the toughest to find items from the 1956 "EPE" pantheon of licensed products. Like the t-shirts and dresses, they were worn by Elvis' adoring fans. And while the offered pair show signs of use and wear to the soles, they present intact with bold printing on the outside canvas uppers with Elvis' image as well as the interior insoles with their "Arch Cushioned" targets.  

But the real star here is the original box. The best most collectors can hope for in acquiring this box is the "card" that was usually cut off the box bottom, but this example is totally intact. The box and lid are covered with Elvis images and song titles including "Love Me Tender," "Heartbreak Hotel," "Blue Suede Shoes," "Hound Dog" and "Don't Be Cruel." The box has suffered some wear and structural damage plus small areas of paper loss, but it is still assembled as it was the day some lucky Elvis fan first donned her "Size 9" "sneakers". The shoes present in Excellent condition with the box technically lesser, in the Very Good range. That said, the colors are bold and bright on this wonderful Elvis Presley Enterprises showpiece.
