1956 Elvis Presley Enterprises "The Elvis Presley Game" COMPLETE with Original Promo Photo

Offered is the rare and highly sought-after Elvis Presley board game made in 1956 by Teen-Age Games, Inc. The board game was housed in a pink box with a large black-and-white image of a smiling Elvis on the cover. Not surprisingly, the theme was love and the tag line on the box cover was “A Party Game for the Young at Heart.” This example includes original box; colorful board printed with phrases like “Let’s Go Steady” and “Can’t Do Without You”; playing directions and rules; full-color spinning board with Elvis and guitar as spinner; complete set of 5 pink and 5 blue cardboard record disc pieces on the original punch strips; Question and Penalty cards in original holder; and the rarely seen photo of Elvis Presley. The mimeographed paper promo photo is nearly impossible to find. The game box measures 10 1/4 by 20 x 2 inches, the promotional photo measures 11 by 8 1/2 inches. The box lid has been reinforced with period tape on the edges, but maintains wonderful color. The box bottom is intact, and the game board is the real star hear, with little wear and brilliant like-new color. Excellent to Mint condition overall with the box lid lesser.
