The offered "Dell Publishing Co." original news photo captures Elvis Presley in costume on the set of Love Me Tender, titled The Reno Brothers. The photo was taken by Modern Screen staff photographer Bob Beerman, but was most-likely NOT used in the magazine, and remains unpublished. The period photo was likely taken on the last day of filming, October 8, 1956--presents with backstampings that include the date "OCT 9 1956", the day after filming wrapped on Elvis' first movie. The photo measures 8 x 10 inches and is printed on heavier photographic paper. Small creases at the corners. Near Mint condition.
