Offered is an Elvis Presley signed front cover to the 1956 magazine Mr Rhythm. "Love ya, Elvis Presley" is penned next to his portrait on the "Souvenir Picture Album" that was sold at Elvis' concerts in 1956. Also included is the back cover to the magazine signed by Scotty Moore, DJ ("Don") Fontana, June Carter, Helen Carter, Shorty Lavender, Pete Wade and one other. Shorty Lavender and Pete Wade played in "The Deputies," Faron Young's backup band, among other outfits in the period. It's likely the signatures were gathered after a show in Virginia during one of Elvis' concerts there in February or March 1956. The covers have long since been separated from the magazine and the interior pages disposed of, but the two pieces would frame up very nicely into a display piece featuring a beautiful example of Elvis' signature from the year he became "ELVIS." Accompanied by LOA from Beckett Authentic. Very Good condition with many distresses, though the signatures are quite bold.
