Although the processing date printed on the photos is "APR 57," the jacket Elvis is wearing (and the appearance of actor Nick Adams) date these photos to the November 25, 1956, concerts at the Jefferson County Armory in Louisville, Kentucky. Elvis only wore the gold sport coat (from Lansky Brothers in Memphis) a few times in late-1956. It was a predecessor, albeit briefly, to the famous gold lamé jacket he started wearing just months later in 1957. Bass player Bill Black is also seen in one of the photos, and another captures Elvis holding up a small infant for a photo-op. It's funny to think she's 63 years old now. The smaller photo measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches, while the other three measure 5 x 3 1/2 inches, and all four are printed on era-appropriate "KODAK VELOX PAPER." All the photos present with mild wear with minor creases. Excellent to Mint condition.
