The offered advertising broadside was created to promote the July 31, 1956, game in Lynchburg, Virginia between the Detroit Stars and the Memphis Red Sox of the Negro American League. The game took place at Lynchburg Municipal Stadium and the day's entertainment also featured "The Flying Nesbits" acrobat act. The two teams had finished their regular season in the Negro American League, and played all over the eastern part of the country in barnstorming games. On some stops, players from all four NAL teams would have "All-Star" games. The poster measures 14 x 22 inches and presents with minor staining along the edges. Excellent to Mint condition.
