Offered is Elvis Presley's EP "SPD-23" that was only available when fans bought the larger model "7-EP-45" Elvis Presley Signature Phonograph in late 1956 and early 1957. The EP contains twelve songs on THREE separate extended play 45s and is presented in a triple-gatefold sleeve with blank center "pages." The RCA Victrola phonograph was model "" with a facsimile Elvis Presley signature on the top. These EPs were only available for the Christmas season in 1956 and for the early part of 1957. The other version of the EP, "SPD-22", was only available with smaller "7-EP-2" model phonograph. The gatefold offered here is intact with moderate scuffing and discoloration. The spine is still intact with "ELVIS PRESLEY" and the record number still readable. The vinyl presents with moderate use, some scratches and scuffing and intact labels, though two have large red letters painted on them. GD condition overall with good image quality and color on the cover with signs of heavy use. (The RCA Victrola  "7-EP-45" phonograph that this record would have come with is offered as another lot in this auction.)
