Offered is a perfectly preserved FULL PICTORIAL TICKET for Elvis Presley's concert on September 27, 1957, in Tupelo, Mississippi at the Mississippi-Alabama Fair & Dairy Show Fairgrounds. Almost exactly a year to the day after his first appearance in his hometown as a music star, Elvis returned once again to Tupelo to perform at the fairground in a show to benefit the planned "Elvis Presley Youth Center." Accompanying the ticket is a rarely seen original ticket envelope that "Mrs. Hazel Pittman" picked up on September 11, most likely at a local hardware or appliance store that generally sold advance concert tickets in those days. Luckily, the ticket was never torn or apparently ever saw the light of day--it is in perfect condition. The pictorial ticket features Elvis in his legendary gold lamé jacket, and he didn't disappoint when he took the stage in the jacket that Friday night to a crowd of 12,000. The ticket measures 4 3/4 x 2 inches and presents in stunning Near Mint to Mint condition.
