The offered original news service wire photo captures Elvis Presley riding a "Hound Dog" bike on the set of Loving You with Co-Star Lizbeth Scott. The International News Photos marking on the reverse indicate it was used twice in 1957, in March and August, and luckily indicate "Elvis Presley - Singer" in case anyone didn't know! The caption on the front reads in part "Elvis Presley has deserted his four Cadillacs and his Messerschmitt in favor a bicycle bilt [sic] for two. When he checked in at Paramount Studios for hsi starring role in 'Loving You', producer Hal Wallis presented him with a bright red bike bearing a guitar-shaped sign reading 'Hound Dog'. He uses the vehicle to transport his co-star Lizabeth Scott to and from the sound stage." the photo measures 8 x 10 inches and presents with expected editorial markings and wear. Excellent condition.
