Offered is a copy of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin from November 11, 1957, featuring an across-the-fold image of Elvis Presley and labeled as the "Elvis Special Souvenir Extra." Elvis played three shows in Honolulu that month, two at Honolulu Stadium on November 10 and one show on November 11 at the Schofield Barracks in the "Conroy Boxing Bowl." Elvis arriving in Hawaii was met with great fanfare, and that included the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. This is a rarely seen artifact from that Hawaiian trip. Also included are a trio of promotional photos of Elvis, a number of souvenir photo album pages, an RCA postcard and newspaper clippings. Also included is a signed 8x10 photo from Hawaiian KGBM TV Personality Carl Hebenstreit, known to local fans as "Kini Popo." The newspaper section presents with moderate to heavy edgewear and toning, with small areas of paper loss. Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
