Offered is an Elvis Presley signed photo that captures him playing piano with the Army talent show band on the U.S.S. Randall during the crossing to Germany for his Army service. Elvis wrote "1958" and signed his name boldly on the reverse of the photo. Elvis met Charlie Hodge on the ship, and they became fast friends. The Colonel forbade Elvis from performing during his Army service, so he opted to play the piano when asked to help the band. The photo is taken from just behind the drummer and is crystal clear. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beckett Authentic. The photo measures 3 5/8 x 4 5/8 inches and presents with minor wrinkling but great contrast and clarity. Excellent to Mint condition.
