The game was held at St. Louis' Kiel Auditorium on Tuesday, January 21, 1958, and though the Eastern All Stars defeated the Western squad, Bob Pettit of the St. Louis Hawks took home the MVP trophy after putting up 28 points and 26 rebounds.
