Offered is a March 8, 1960, News Service Photo of Elvis Presley speaking before the Tennessee State Legislature on the day they bestowed upon him the honorary title of "Colonel". We're sure Colonel Parker was filled with glee at the irony. The photo emanates from the files of the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper and presents with the paper's stamping on the reverse. "ELVIS PRESLEY" is handwritten in red grease pencil on the reverse. The back of the photo exhibits the image of another photo that was most likely developed at the same time, with its image transfering partially onto this one. The photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Near Mint conditon.
