Offered is a small photograph of Elvis Presley taken during one of his famous viewing parties at "The Memphian" movie theater in Memphis, Tennessee. The photo was taken in the mid-1960s, based on Elvis' look and the captain's hat he wore in the period. Elvis would rent out the whole theater for these parties, to provide himself some privacy--he loved movies, but it became hard to just show up and take one in by the late 1950s. The photo is a bit of a rarity--guests were discouraged from taking snapshots. Measures 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches and presents on period Kodak paper. Near Mint condition.
