Offered is a blue short-sleeved shirt owned by Elvis Presley. The late-1960's/early 1970's shirt still maintains its "Hampshire House by Van Heusen" tag in the collar. It is roughly a size Medium, though size tagging is not present. The shirt's larger collar and trim fit would have suited Elvis perfectly in those years. He eventually gave the shirt to his cousin Patsy Presley, along with a great many items during her long tenure working in the Graceland offices. The shirt was later sold to noted Elvis collector Tom Salva, and it accompanied by a letter from Salva as well as a copy of the original handwritten letter from Patsy that lists the shirt among a number of items in the transaction. It is pictured at left and reads in part "Tom, Here also, are the other things we discussed. Take good care of them for me, O.K. Thanks, Patsy P." "Blue short sleeve dress shirt" is the first item on the list that includes other clothing and random items like a football, Elvis army canteen and bayonet!. The shirt presents with signs of wear but not damage. Near Mint condition.
