Offered is a rarely seen 1960's poster featuring Elvis Presley from his film Flaming Star. The poster is the standard British poster size of 30 x 40 inches, and it was prodiuced by "I Was Lord Kitchener's Valet". The poster must have been inspired by Andy Warhol's famous 1963 "Triple Elvis" artwork which utilized another image from the film. I Was Lord Kitchener's Valet was a uber-hip clothing boutique which achieved fame in 1960s "Swinging London" by promoting antique military uniforms as fashion items. Among the shop's customers were Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix. We can only surmise that the store produced these posters for sale in their locations and via mail order. The poster measures 30 x 40 inches and presents with original folds, some toning and a few small tears. Excellent condition.
