Offered are five medium format and 35mm contact sheets with 73 images from the set of Elvis Presley's 1962 film Follow that Dream, filmed on location in Florida. There 35 images from the medium format contact sheets and 38 images from the 35mm contact, and all but a handful either feature just Elvis or Elvis with one of his co-stars. Produced by Mirisch Company in 1962, the film chronicles the endeavors of a patchwork family setting up a home and business along the roadside in Florida. Based on the 1959 novel by Richard Powell entitled Pioneer, Go Home!, the film’s name was changed to Follow that Dream when the songwriters had difficulty rhyming with the word “pioneer.” Walter Mirisch also liked the final title of the song so the motion picture’s name was officially revised. The sheets all measure 8x 10 inches and present with expected minor wear from handling. One shot is circled in red grease pencil. Near Mint condition.
