Offered is an insert movie poster promoting the 1962 film Safe at Home, starring New York Yankee stars Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. The colorful poster featuring large central images of both players. After the two sluggers duked it out in the 1961 home run race, ending with Maris breaking Babe Ruth's single season record, the two capitalized on their recent fame by taking a stab at Hollywood. The film concerns a young Florida boy who calims to his little league teammates that he knows Mantle and Maris and can get them to come to the team's banquet. Hilarity ensues with co-stars William Frawley and Yankees Whitey Ford and Ralph Houk. The poster measures 14 x 36 inches. Presents with only minor edge and corner wear. Great color.
