Offered is a 1965 Colonel Tom Parker Signed Letter on MGM Letterhead in its original envelope with Harum Scarum promotional stamping on the reverse. The October 26, 1965, typed letter reads: "Dear Nancy: Thanks so much for the stagecoach book ends. It was very kind and I do appreciate them. I have them in my office. Tom has left for his vacation and I hope he has an enjoyable two weeks. Clannie is in Palm Springs with Mrs. Parker and sends the best to all or you. I hope everything is going OK and that the frost is not only on the pumpkin but also on your noses. (handwritten) P.S.-Be on the Lookout for The Camels." This last note was a reference to Elvis' upcoming film Harum Scarum.
The original MGM envelope is stamed on the back "NOW ELVIS NOW / in the Metro Goldwyn Mayer Picture / HARUM SCARUM." The film was set for release just a few weeks later on November 24. The front of the envelope is embellished below the MGM logo with "Col. Parker 1838." The signed letter is accompanied by LOA from Beckett Authentic. Very well preserved Near Mint condition.
