Offered is United Artists file copy of a script used in post production for the 1965 Beatles film Help!. The title page of the script reads "HELP! Post Production Script. July, 1965. Distributed by United Artists." In the upper right corner what could be the film's production number is handwritten "6513-6." The film was the second comedic romp/musical the band made, after 1964's "A Hard Day's Night." Both films were directed by Richard Lester, whose autograph is also available in the auction. The film was a massive success, as was anything The Beatles touched in those day, but it was also a critical triumph. It still ends up on lists of the best 100 films ever made. The script offered here is full of references to film reel numbers and film lengths in feet, with references to the "MUSIC" for the film, indicating this was used in post production, ie editing, scoring or soundtrack work. The pages are numbered per reel, for reels 1-5. The script measures 8 x 13 inches and presents with mild wear to the edges and some toning. Te last few pages have separated from the , but are intact. Excellent condition.
