Offered is a 1968 BMI Award presented to Tuckahoe Music, Inc. for the song "Welcome to My World". Tuckahoe Music was singer Jim Reeves' publishing company. This award was most-likely driven by the 1968 radio play of Dean Martin's version of the song. The most famous version was performed by Jim Reeves himself, who styled the song in his favored style of Nashville Sound. Reeves' version was included on his 1962 album A Touch of Velvet and was released as a single in the United States in early 1964, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in the spring of that year. The award measures 18 x 23 inches and presents with wear to the frame. Excellent condition.
