Offered is a record store poster advertising the 1969 Elvis Presley From Elvis in Memphis 8-track tape, and also promoting the August 1969 Las Vegas International Hotel Initial Engagement at the bottom of the poster. As music technology advanced, the 8-track magnetic tape cartridge was created in 1964. This precursor to the cassette tape was popular in the US, UK, Canada and Australia from the mid 1960s through the late 1970s, so it’s no wonder that Elvis Presley would have had his music distributed on this format during that time. The poster measures 16 1/2 by 9 1/4 inches and presents with minor remnants of an original mailing fold and some minor wrinkles. Near Mint condition.
