Inlcuded in this offering are six items produced to promote Elvis Presley's concerts at The International Hotel in Las Vegas during 1970. After the raging success of his return to the stage during 1969, Elvis came back with a vengeance in 1970, playing 139 shows between January 26 and November 17. And while he did hit the road for the first time since the 1950s, playing the Houston Astrodome and a handful of other citys, the lionshare of his concerts took place in Las Vegas. This group of promotional items for those shows includes: “Elvis Summer Festival/International Hotel” Ceiling Hanger with its original red string (10 ½ inches in diamter); 8 x 10 inch Promotional Photo with “ELVIS 1970 In Person” back; 5 x 7 inch Postcard Elvis in “Chain” Jumpsuit with “ELVIS NOW NOW NOW” International Hotel back; 1970 Summer Festival Souvenir Menu; 1970 Souvenir Photo Album; and 1971 RCA Calendar Card (distributed during later 1970). All items present in superior condition, with only minor distresses. The souvenir photo does have a barely perceptible watermark from a cup or glass in the lower left corner.
