The offered 33 1/3 RPM “RCA Nashville” acetate emanates from Elvis Presley’s incredibly productive recording sessions in June 1970. This acetate has nine cuts of eight different songs Elvis recorded on June 7-8. 1970 (many of his recording sessions went late into the night or next morning). In addition to the artist name and song listing, there is a notation on both sides of “Oct 6,” which may be the date this acetate was either made or reviewed by someone in the production process. The songs on this disc ended up on several Elvis LPs, including Elvis: That’s the Way It Is (released November 11, 1970), Elvis Country (I’m 10,000 Years Old) (released January 2, 1971), and Love Letters from Elvis (released June 16, 1971).

The songs are in the same order in which they were recorded that night at RCA’s legendary Studio B in Nashville. Side 1 includes: “When I’m Over You,” “I Really Don’t Want To Know,” “Faded Love (1),” Faded Love (2),” (Note: though marked as “1” and “2,” these are actually takes 1 and 3, as studio documents indicate take 2 was a short rehearsal of the track.) “Tomorrow Never Comes.” Side 2 includes: “The Next Step is Love,” “Make the World Go Away,” “Funny How Time Slips Away,” “Wash My Hands in Muddy Water,” and “Love Letters.” The disc measures 12-Inches in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated (quoted here). VG condition with a few scuffs and scratches. Playable condition.
