1970s Elvis Presley Signed Black-and-White Promotional Poster - Inscribed to Memphis Mafia Member Jerry Schilling and His Wife Sandy - with LOA from Graceland Authenticated

Elvis Presley has signed and inscribed this period black-and-white prmotional poster “To Sandy and Jerry ‘He’s her husband’ with Friendship and Love E.P.” The poster also contains its original facsimile “Thanks Elvis” signature in the lower left. This poster was inscribed to Jerry Schilling, who met Elvis in 1954. The two became close friends and Jerry joined the ranks of Elvis’ inner circle, which was known fondly as the “Memphis Mafia.” Elvis valued Jerry’s friendship and Jerry was always there for Elvis while venturing to have his own career. Jerry was successful in this endeavor; he managed The Beach Boys and Jerry Lee Lewis for a spell and later managed the musical career of Lisa Marie. Jerry met his wife Sandy and they married just six weeks prior to Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding. The poster is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated (quoted here). The 22 x 28 inch poster has suffered from the mounting to the cardboard, and the later stripping of the coating, but surprisingly remains in very presentable condition. There is quite a bit of edge damage and paper loss. Very Good condition overall.
