Offered is a 1971 original news service photo of Elvis Presley taken on December 28, 1970, at Graceland during Sonny West's wedding. There are a number of more well-known photos from this night, inlcuding a color photo of Elvis and all the boys showing their badges. But this photo is ALL Elvis, replete with the trappings of his singular life: ornate rifle in his hands, "EP" glasses, rings on ten fingers, his lion head necklace around his neck and no less than three badges. Perhaps its most charming quality is that over Elvis shoulder we see Priscilla holding Lisa Marie, whose eyes are squarely focused on her daddy. The National Star stamping on the reverse indicates that the photo was "not used" by the magazine. The photo measures 8 x 10 inches and presents in Near Mint condtion.
