Offered is a very scarce mylar poster created by Flashbacks, Inc. for Elvis Presley in 1972. A small number of these posters have been seen over the years, and they were generally thought to be used for promotional purposes at Elvis concerts during the period (and they certainly could have been), just like the large 6-foot and 12-foot mylar banners Flashbacks created. However, recent information from the owner of Flashbacks, Inc. indicate that these smaller pieces were, in fact, prototypes made at Colonel Parker's request. The owner's recollection was that there would have only been a very small number of these produced as prototypes. They would not have been produced in great numbers considering that the larger 6-foot and 12-foot long banners that were created for Colonel Parker were made in quantities of just 40. There larger 21 x 30 inch versions made as prototypes as well. The four versions would have been “ganged up” on one larger print sheet for producing these prototypes. The poster measures 15 x 10 inches and presents with tears in the upper left and right, with tape reinforcements on the back. Very Good to Excellent condition.
