Offered is a 1973 RCA Victor record store window banner promoting the Aloha from Hawaii Via Satellite Quadradisc recording, including songs never before recorded by Elvis. The banner is unused, and the full-color image of the album cover is out of this world!  Also included are a copy of the 1973 double LP and the 1973 RCA Elvis Record Catalog featuring the LP on the back. This blockbuster hit album would be Elvis’ last number one during his lifetime. Fans from around the globe watched as the singing phenomenon from Memphis known the world over as Elvis took the stage at the Honolulu International Center on January 14, 1973 and said “Aloha” to the world. This famed concert aired via satellite in over 40 countries in Europe and Asia (airing at a later date in the U.S.) and was not only the most expensive entertainment special of its time, costing approximately $2.5 million to produce, but also one of Elvis’ most triumphant moments on stage. The double album released by RCA of this celebrated concert contained 30 songs and was an immediate, massive hit, as Elvis sang every song with a passion and energy like only the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll could. The banner measures approximately 8 1/2 by 24 inches and presents with some wrinkling and minor wear and moderate staining on the right side. There are several small areas of paper loss on the edges. Very Good to Excellent condition.
