1974 Elvis Presley Handwritten and Signed Note to Liza Minelli After the Night They Met LINDA LOVELACE! - on Las Vegas Hilton Stationary (BAS)

Offered is a remarkable 1974 Elvis Presley handwritten and signed Note to Liza Minelli on Las Vegas Hilton Stationary. The note is in dark black felt tip pen and reads "Dear Liza-Thanks for your help. Love E.P." The thoughtful missive most-likely dates from January-February 1974 when Elvis and Liza Minelli were both performing in Las Vegas. In a now infamous story retold by Liza, the two met in Elvis' suite with an odd cast of characters that included Chubby Checker, Alice Cooper and Linda Lovelace! The video at right is a clip of Liza telling about the night on a talk show--about how Elvis put on a karate demonstration in his suite at The Las Vegas Hilton for the motley crew. You cannot make this stuff up! Minelli may get the timeframe incorrect, but we know that Elvis met Lovelace only one  time, and it was during his January-February 1974 concerts at The Hilton. The result is a wonderful Elvis signed item to another giant of the entertainment industry. The sheet measures 7 1/4 x 5 3/4 inches and is neatly torn across the bottom. Excellent condition.
