The offered news service photograph captures Elvis Presley leaving the hospital after his June 15, 1975, "extensive eye procedure." Photographer Bob Michelson took the photo, apparently tabloid style, to get a shot of Elvis leaving the hospital. Though it was for plastic surgery on his eyes, the press was kept in the dark which led to speculation. The photo was used in the October 1975 issue of Modern Screen for an article entitled "Is He Facing Blindness?" The photo has Michelson's stamp on the reverse, as well as "p. 38 Oct. '75 M.S." and other editorial markings. It measures 8 x 10 inches and presents in Near Mint condition.
