Offered is a rarely seen "Elvis Presley Show" MINIATURE tour itinerary booklet owned and used by Elvis concert sound engineer Bruce Jackson. Tour documents can be found for a number of Elvis' tours from the 1970s, but we have never handled one of these little beauties. (And there is another one in this auction.) This example hails from the June 1974 concert tour that included stops in Huntsville, Mobile, Houston, Dallas and Memphis, among other stops. The diminutive booklet is bound with a yellow plastic cover, and it measures 4 x 4 1/2 inches. Some distress from use, but very well preserved Near Mint condition.

The Bruce Jackson Collection - Elvis Presley Concert Sound Engineer

These items and another 22 lots in this auction emanate from the estate of Elvis Presley's Sound Engineer, Bruce Jackson. In the 1970s. Jackson worked with Claire Brothers Audio Enterprises and was responsible for the onstage monitor sound for Elvis Presley for 100s of concerts. The offered artifacts hail from that period of Jackson's career. He would go on to work with Bruce Springsteen for 10 years, and did sound for Barbara Streisand, as well. In addition to Presley, Springsteen and Streisand, Jackson mixed concert sound for Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart and the Faces, Barry White, Jefferson Airplane, Ozzy Osbourne, Carly Simon, Three Dog Night, the Jackson 5, Cat Stevens, Glen Campbell, Art Garfunkel, Procol Harum and Lou Reed. Jackson kept a vast and interesting assortment of backstage passes, crew ephemera and tour documents from his time with Elvis Presley, some of which have rarely been seen by fans. We hope you enjoy the collection.
