Offered is a gorgeous handmade beer stein custom made for and presented to Elvis Presley at his March 1976 concerts at Freedom Hall in Johnson City, Tennessee. The stein has a handpainted winter scene with "Elvis" on one side and "Freedom hall / Johnson City, Tenn. / March 18=7, 18, 19 1976" on the other side. On the bottom is written "Made for Elvis by the Cash Family Erwin, Tenn." Ok, not THAT Cash family, but another clan famous for creating the famous Cash Family Pottery. Ray and Pauline Cash produced the highly sought-after pieces from 1945 to 1989, using perhaps as many as 1,000 different molds. However, to our knowledge, this is the only example created specifically for Elvis Presley. The stein was part of the legendary Mike Moon collection in Pigeon Forge, Tennesse, and as stated in the accompanying COA was part of his museum for many years. The stein measures 6 inches tall and is 4 inches in diameter at its base. Stunning Near Mint to Mint condition.
