1976 Group of 17 Photographs of Elvis Presley in Concert August 2, 1976, in Roanoke, Virginia

Offered is a group of 17 Photographs of Elvis Presley in concert on August 2, 1976, at the Civic Center in Roanoke, Virginia. Of the 17 photos, 13 feature Elvis singing and interacting with fans at the front of the stage, one shows James Burton doing a Jimi Hendrix imitation playing his guitar behind his head, two photos of members of The Sweet Inspirations and one photo of Elvis' plane, the Lisa Marie, at Roanoke's Blacksburg Regional Airport. The backs of the 3 1/2 x 5 inch photographs have the processing date stamped "AUG 1976"--the same month as the show. Roanoke was the penultimate stop on a tour that ran from July 23 through August 5, had 15 shows in 10 cities across seven states. The photographs have survived in stunning Near Mint to Mint condition.
