The offered CD single's cover has been signed boldly by Elton John. The cover is for his 1997 single "Something About the Way You Look Tonight" and "Candle in the Wind 1997." A third song, "You Can Make History (Young Again)" was also on the CD single. "Candle in the Wind 1997", also known as "Goodbye England's Rose," was of course the re-written and re-recorded version of Elton John's and Bernie Taupin's 1973 song "Candle in the Wind." While the original paid homage to Marilyn Monroe, the new version honored Diana, Princess of Wales. It was released on September 13, 1997, as a tribute single just two weeks after she was tragically killed in a car accident. The song was a massive hit, reaching number one status in both the UK and US, with all proceeds going to Diana's charities. The CD cover insert measures 5 1/2 by 4 3/4 inches and presents with no distresses. Near Mint to Mint condition.
