Offered is a lock (2 strands) of Marilyn Monroe's hair acquired by a mortician after her untimely death in 1962. The hair is framed with a large photo of Marilyn and a copy of the letter of provenance from mortician Allan Abbott, from 1991. He tells the story of acquiring an amount of her hair during the procedures in which he assisted. Accompanied by LOA from University Archives hair expert John Reznikoff.
