The offered letter was handwritten by noted burlesque dancer Blaze Starr, who claimed a torrid affair with Senator, and later President, John F. Kennedy. The letter is embellished by Starr's self portrait and lipstick mark. The letter reads

Dear Ernie: Just a line to answer your letter. Oh yes, there was a lot of things I didn't tell in my book or the movie 'Blaze.' In Jan. 1960 J.F.K., Jackie, and L.B.J. came in the Shobar in New Orleans to watch my show. I joined the party after my show. Jackie left after a short time. I had known J.F.K. since 1952. He was a weekend regular at the Cross Roads Club in D.C. At closing time, the party plus several of Earls cronies, and myself and a dozen show girls, went to the Roosevelt Hotel, where Earl kept a suite. L.B.J. said lets make Earl jealous. So I took J.F.K. by the hand and led him into another room. He led me right on into a large closet. I took my Bra, and tied it to the door knob, onto a clothes hanger. We were having a grand old time, when we heard Earl yellin and screamin, Now where is Blaze and that young Kennedy feller? I put my sweater on, I had my skirt and shoes on, I left the bra hanging and came out. J.F.K. Slid to the back of the closet. Earl said what on earth are you doin in there! I said with Panic my mink coat is gone. While everyone hunted for the coat, J.F.K. slipped out of the closet. J.F.K. said it was harder to win my body than any Election he had ever been in.

Signed, with a star around her name, "Blaze Starr." Also accompanying is hardbacked copy of JFK Day by Day signed by author Terry Golway. The framed display, without glass, measures 14 x 23 inches. The letter is written on 8 ½ x 11 inch lightly lined paper. Near Mint condition.
