This offering is one of 14 different 1972 Topps Winners cards in this auction. In 1971, Topps ran a contest where the Grand Prize was either to get your own baseball card or a complete set of 1971 or 1972 Topps baseball cards. Only 19 kids chose to get their own card, creating one of the toughest "subsets" in any 1970's Topps issue. These 14 graded cards are some of the highest graded examples to date, and only five additional cards are needed to complete the "set."
