The offered oversized record store display was created by Columbia Records to promote the 1982 Paul McCartney LP Tug of War. The display's 12 inch wide lower "tabs" were designed to fit into adjacent LP racks, leaving the double-sided display to rise above the racks and the life size Sir Paul staring right into the eyes of prospective buyers. It may have contributed to Tug of War and its biggest single, a duet with Stevie Wonder "Ebony and Ivory," both becoming international number ones. The display measures fully 43 x 36 inches and presents with some scuffing and scratches and edge wear, especially at the corners. The display folds in half, for shipping purposes. Excellent to Mint condition.
