Offered is a oilcloth banner employed to promote Elvis Presley concerts in the mid-1970s. The banner proclaims "ELVIS NOW / Hear Elvis on RCA Records & Tapes." The Colonel and RCA were keen to capitalize on any opportunity to advertise upcoming events, new record releases and anything relating to their main attraction. An ideal way to efficiently cross-market was to use concert advertising to promote Elvis’ musical catalog with RCA, and the offered banner does just that, encouraging concert attendees to “Hear Elvis on RCA Records & Tapes.” The heraldic-shaped canvas banner with neon silkscreened ink and hanging grommets along the top edge features a small image of Elvis above the text. The banner measures 24 x 30 inches and presents with moderate wear from display use. Excellent to Mint condition.
