Offered is a beautiful group of impressive framed displays presenting all 16 lobby cards from Elvis Presley's documentary concert films of the 1970s, That's the Way It Is and Elvis On Tour. Fifteen of the cards are in three 60 inch tall frames, with five lobby cards in each held in place with mounting corners. The final card is in its own matching matting, ready for framing. These two concert films, on the heels of the "'68 Comeback Special", helped re-establish Elvis as the preeminent live performer of his generation. They capture him at the peak of his powers on stage in Las Vegas in 1970 and several cities on his 1972 tour. And the offered presentation of the lobby card sets from each film does them justice. Each lobby card measures 14 x 11 inches and the large frames measure 16 x 60 inches. The cards are very clean, with just a few exhibiting moderate wear. Near Mint condition overall, with a few just lesser.
