Offered is a group of artifacts from Elvis Presley's concerts on December 31, 1975, in Pontiac, Michigan which includes three photos of Elvis performing, a pictorial ticket stub (green variation), two souvenir buttons from the show, two souvenir t-shirts (most-likely not purchased at the show) and even the binoculars used at the concert! This show was the first time that Elvis would celebrate New Year’s with crowds of fans, providing them with a celebratory performance to ring in the new year. Despite very cold weather, sound system issues and Elvis ripping his pants, this New Year’s Eve concert had the largest live audience and was the highest grossing performance by a single artist in a one-night appearance to date, grossing over $800,000. At this New Year’s Eve show, Elvis began the evening wearing the “Rainfall” jumpsuit but was forced to change into the “V-Neck” jumpsuit after he ripped the seat of the first ensemble. The photos measure 5 x 3 1/2, 5 x 3 1/2, and 3 x 3 1/2 inches and present Near Mint condition. The ticket stub measures 2 x 4 1/4 inches and presents Excellent to Mint condition.
